1. Sign in to Google Analytics
2. Click Admin, and navigate to the desired account/property/view

Ezoic has a getting started quick guide which you can reference for more details but we will make a super concise listing below for those who want to do manual ad placeholders. If this seems overly complex and you aren’t technically savvy then reach out to your account manager and tell them you need help getting your placeholders set correctly for your site.

You will want to install an ad insertion plugin which allows you to add valuable ad slots within your content itself. This will help you to insert ads into post content where you can’t normally, including places like before the content, after the content, and at after any individual paragraph.

2. Add Additional Testing Locations – The next step is to include additional locations to be tested by Ezoic’s system. There are two methods to accomplish this:

3. To manually add the placeholders to your site, you’ll follow the same steps as you did to wrap your ads by creating a placeholder in Ezoic’s Ad Tester Dashboard.
4. Once the placeholder code is generated, add this placeholder div to your site in the location you want the placeholder to appear.
   1. Repeat this process until all ad placeholders are created and the ad links inserted into the website.
5. Turn on Ezoic‘s Ad Tester
6. Patience – The system will now start to process through all the options possible with the number of placements available. This is a time-consuming process and in many cases can be 6 weeks to 6 months to get to the max value from your visitors.

How to Use Ezoic For Additional Income

When you configure the above ad placements you will choose whether they are on a specific layout or a specific page or post. I would say leave it on this layout to ensure proper placement on the posts which should be your main moneymakers.
